Coumar ANANDA was born in Pondicherry, India. After graduating from the Lycée Français de Pondichéry in 1990, he continued his studies in France in Economics.
Passionate about archeology and history since his adolescence, he is interested in the history of the Arikamedu site near Pondicherry, where he will spend several years collecting artefacts from this 2000-year-old site.
He invites us to share, within the framework of the symposium on Tamil culture organized by the Kalpana association, a synthesis of research on the introduction of techniques for printing Tamil characters in India and its impact on the spread of the language.
Coumar holds a Masters in Finance from the Université Paris René Descartes and an MBA from ESSEC. He is the author of two books in French; Douces heures de Pondichéry 2010, Paroles de bambous 2012.
